Lion's Pride
Every week, we gather together as a school community with students and staff to build and celebrate our school community. Our school-wide gatherings at Las Lomitas are called “Lions’ Pride” and they actively involve students and staff, acknowledge everyone, and set a welcoming tone that conveys the message, "This school belongs to all of us and is a place where you belong and are a valued member of our community.”
Each gathering begins with the Pledge of Allegiance and ends with a Joke of the Week. The gatherings celebrate monthly character traits, cultures, ethnicities, languages, religions, abilities, and identities.
Together we are LIONS!
