Thank you for your interest in the Las Lomitas School District (LLESD). The district uses an on-line application process called ED-JOIN. The application process is paperless. We will not accept paper applications.

ED-JOIN, or Education Job Opportunities Information Network, is an on-line service used by many school districts in California. It allows applicants to submit one application for a position in LLESD and update it or revise it for other positions that become available within the district.

Applicants will also submit their credential, letters of recommendation, transcripts, resume, and other certificates on-line. Please do not email your application, resume, credential, certificates, transcripts or letters of recommendation directly to Human Resources. To be considered for a position, all materials must be submitted through ED-JOIN.

Our district is committed to providing every child a quality education in a safe environment. We cannot do this alone, and the support of parents, staff, and our community is vitally important to the success of our students. Working together, we can ensure that all of our children are prepared to be successful workers, family members, and citizens.

The Las Lomitas Elementary School District (LLESD) is comprised of two award-winning schools: Las Lomitas Elementary (K-3rd grade) in Atherton and La Entrada Middle (4th-8th grades) in Menlo Park. LLESD is dedicated to providing an exemplary comprehensive and continually improving educational program that meets the cognitive and social-emotional needs of each student and that reflects the changing needs of our highly global and technological society. In partnership with dedicated teachers and staff, an engaged School Board, involved parents, and a community that values and actively supports education, students are guided to become thinking, caring, and contributing citizens in our ever-changing global society.

Las Lomitas provides inclusive, culturally relevant, professional development which keeps teachers up-to-date on new research on how children learn, emerging technology tools for the classroom, new curriculum resources, ways to promote equity and diversity within all of our classrooms as well as strategies to work successfully with each and every student. Our District’s professional development uses a blended delivery model incorporating classroom instruction, online instruction and coaching so teachers have professional development that is ongoing, collaborative, and connected to and derived from working with students and understanding their culture and rich and varied backgrounds.

LLESD is an equal opportunity employer that seeks to employ individuals who represent the rich diversity of cultures, language groups, and abilities of its surrounding communities. It is the policy of the District not to discriminate because of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, age, or disability. Any complaints can be submitted to Steve Fuentes, Title IX Compliance Officer, 1011 Altschul Ave., Menlo Park, CA  94025 (650) 854-6311 ext. 15
